Who Designs Our Workshops?

Every workshop is carefully co-designed by:

  • Dr. Firle Beckley (speech and language therapist)
  • Nikki Hafter (artist facilitator)
  • And people living with communication differences

We also make sure our workshops are inclusive—both for communication and physical access.

1. Creative Conversation Partner Training Workshops

Conversations matter—they’re how we express who we are. But communication differences can make conversations feel flat and frustrating.

Our Creative Conversation Partner Training workshops are designed to help put the fizz back into your chats with a friend or family member. Together, you’ll:

  • Learn how everyday conversations work.
  • Understand how those “rules” can change when there’s a communication difference.
  • Explore ways to keep your conversations flowing in fun, creative ways.

2. Making and Doing Workshops

These workshops give adults with acquired communication differences the chance to learn something new—whether it’s a creative skill, digital skill, or something completely different—in a fun, social, and communication-friendly space.

Each workshop is for up to eight people.
